Sally Ride Elementary is proud to announce that we are now a Digital Learning school. This means that we will be blending our learning to include digital curriculum, with each student having their own digital device to use at the school. With this new opportunity comes some new additions to our curriculum.
LaunchPad - This system was used our students at Sally Ride last year and will now become more familiar to our parents. It is a centralized site to access many of the programs we use at OCPS.
Skyward - This is our new system that is replacing ProgressBook. Parents will be able to monitor their students' information as well as grades.
Canvas - This is the learning management system that students will use to participate in a course digitally this year. Parents will have the ability to become an observer to view the course of their students.
How to Access As a Parent
- Go to OCPS.net and select Skyward Family Access
- Enter either your email or phone number. This must be the same email or phone number used when your student was registered with OCPS.
- Enter the One-time Password sent to your email or phone
- Please note that if your receive a message asking for a Registration Code, then the email or phone number was not the one listed in your student’s registration form. You will need to speak with the school Registrar to update your information.
- Complete the User Details
- You should now have access to the OCPS LaunchPad connected to Canvas and Skyward
- For future access, visit https://parents.classlink.com/ocps to enter your email or phone number followed by your password.
