District and State Testing

With changes occurring in the 2020-2021 school year allowing for students to attend school from home, testing on the District and State level will be impacted based on the nature of the individual assessments. Here is where you will be able to find letters discussing the assessments and how testing will be conducted this school year.

i-Ready Diagnostic (All Grade Levels)
Administered three times a year
May be done at home online or at school
LaunchED students are permitted to come to school for testing

1. August 17th to September 4th
2. November 30th to December 18th
3. April 12th to April 30th

Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener (FLKRS)
Administered at beginning of school year
Done at school (face to face) only

Science Progress Monitoring Activity (5th Grade)
Administered three times a year

1. October 13th to October 23rd
2. January 5th to January 15th

Florida Standards Assessment (3rd to 5th Grade)
Administered on specific dates at end of school year
Done at school (face to face) only
Testing will begin at 9:00 am.  Students may arrive at school opening of 8:15 am.

1. 3rd Grade English-Language Arts - April 6th and April 7th
2. 4th and 5th Grade Writing - April 8th
3. 4th and 5th English-Language Arts - May 3rd and May 4th
4. 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Math - May 6th and May 7th
5. 5th Grade Science -  May 10th and May 11th

A meeting was held on February 25th to discuss current information regarding the FSA. Use this link to see the video from the Virtual FSA Night.

An Executive Order was released on April 9th which contains information regarding the FSA for Promotion and Retention Decisions (Pages 3 and 4).

Common Final Exams (5th Grade Only)
Administered to 5th Grade Only
May be done at home online or at school
LaunchED students are permitted to come to school for testing
If completing from home online, camera is required to be on during assessments

The Common Final Exams are a District assessment given to determine learning achieved in non-core courses.  They are not used for the purpose of determining promotion.  Each assessment is 60 minutes in length.

May 21st - Physical Education
